Democrat Assemblyman and self-described Socialist, Ryan Clancy (D-Milwaukee) recently posted on Facebook and said, "[Police Officers] jobs have neither dignity nor value." Since then, I have not heard or seen one statement from Democrats disavowing these comments.

This Tuesday, recently elected Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice, Janet Protasiewicz, was sworn in. This officially flips our states high court from conservative to liberal, and means liberals now control two out of the three branches of state government. 

Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford sent me a letter as well as a certificate of recognition for my work on the bipartisan Shared Revenue Bill, later known as Act 12. I'd like to thank Mayor Woodford for his kind words and I look forward to our continued work making Appleton a better place to live and raise a family. Under Act 12, the city of Appleton will receive about $1.9 million dollars in additional funding from the state. 

This week, a Conservative watchdog Twitter group, “Libs of TikTok,” with 2 million followers, unfairly singled out the Kimberly Area School District (KASD) for grooming children with perverted pornographic information from a book called “This Book is Gay.”  This information should not be provided to any child, especially middle-schoolers at J.R. Gerritts.  Above is the statement from Kimberly’s School Superintendent, Bob Mayfield. Please review it.  

Assembly Republican, Barbara Dittrich, introduced a bill that would ban biological males from competing in high school women's sports. I recently signed onto this bill because denying basic biological facts to push an ideological agenda hurts young women. I wouldn't want my girls to have to compete against a biological man. It also destroys Title IX, a federal law designed to prevent discrimination based on gender in schools and sports. 

In his budget address five months ago, Governor Evers pledged to reduce the tax burden on the middle-class by promising a 10% tax cut. This tax cut would be applicable for single filers earning less than $100,000 and married joint filers earning less than $150,000. Despite the Republicans proposing a more generous 14% income tax cut, Evers vetoed these proposals, reducing the tax cut to a mere fraction of what was initially promised.

On Thursday, Wisconsin Legislative Republicans announced our much needed and long over due plan for $4.4 billion in tax relief.

On Wednesday, the State Assembly and the State Senate passed a historic & bipartisan expansion to the school choice program & public education funding. Additionally, 63% of Wisconsin voters believe the school choice program should be expanded. Here is why this will improve education in our state:
