It was wonderful to attend the Middleton High School Borden Athletic Complex Grand Opening. I was proud to stand with Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District Board of Education members past and present to celebrate this new facility.

It was a busy week for committees here at the capitol. Over the course of two days I had four hearings in three different committees - Senate Committees on Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention, Children and Families (met twice); Health; and Financial Institutions and Sporting Heritage.

On Thursday, Legislative Republicans continued their attacks on democracy by ousting the Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe based on ridiculous and unfounded claims of fraud in the 2020 election, threatening to impeach duly elected Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz, and fast-tracking a disingenuous redistricting proposal.
