E-Updates

It was a busy week here at the Capitol. Governor Evers delivered the State of the State Address and both houses of the legislature were called in to debate the Republican’s latest gerrymandering stunt. I also met with many groups visiting the capitol as part of lobby days.

This update includes a recap of my first floor session day as leader, an update on the State of the State, and some of my meetings in the capitol.

Happy 2024! I hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and rang in the New Year surrounded by friends and family. We have a lot to be excited for in 2024 and I’m ready for the Senate floor sessions later this month.

This week has been a whirlwind as I took over the duties of the Senate Democratic Leader. This update includes my recent visit to a UW-Madison classroom, the latest capitol news, and a few fun holiday updates.

This past week was a whirlwind of committee meetings, district visits, the Holiday Tree lighting, and being elected to serve as the next leader of the Senate Democrats.

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. While we were enjoying our Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, I told my family that I am humbled and thankful for the incredible opportunity to represent you in the Wisconsin State Senate.
