What a week it has been! Governor Evers signed fair maps into law, the Senate and Assembly were in session, and we had the State of the Tribes address.

This past week was a very busy week in the Capitol with both the Assembly and Senate on the floor. This update includes a recap of that, information on Black History Month celebrations, and the latest alerts and tips from state agencies.

This update includes information on Governor Evers vetoing the Republicans’ gerrymandered maps, the expert report on map submissions for the redistricting lawsuit, and many other meetings and events here at the capitol.

It was a busy week here at the Capitol. Governor Evers delivered the State of the State Address and both houses of the legislature were called in to debate the Republican’s latest gerrymandering stunt. I also met with many groups visiting the capitol as part of lobby days.
