Senator Johnson’s internship program offers an incredibly unique hands-on experience with responsibilities tailored to the participant’s interests and strengths. Interns will be given the opportunity to study and gain invaluable knowledge about state government and the legislative process. Responsibilities could include policy research, constituent communication, data analysis, event participation and assistance with office operations. Participants will have the opportunity to work directly with the Senator and her staff members.

Intern applicants should possess a strong work ethic and good verbal and written communication skills. Applicants should have an interest or knowledge in state government and the legislative process. Previous experience in an office setting is preferred, but not required.
