Today, the State Assembly voted on an amended version of Assembly Bill 415, a map that legislative Republicans altered to protect members of their caucus. Representative Deb Andraca released this statement.

In an effort to keep Wisconsin college campuses safe, Rep. Deb Andraca introduced a bill today that would prohibit a person from possessing a firearm in a building or on the grounds of a college or university, mirroring other state gun-free school zones.

Today, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Wisconsin's legislative district maps are unconstitutional and new ones must be put in place for future elections. Representative Andraca issued this statement.
