Meet the Team

Fred Ludwig
Fred has over a decade and a half of experience in Wisconsin politics, including serving in leadership roles in both houses of the state legislature and as chief of staff for former Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes. He most recently served as Government Affairs Director for the Milwaukee County Board. He is a valuable addition to our office as we work on our legislative goals and collaborate on creating the state's budget.

Stacy Benoy
Stacy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. Before working for the legislature, she was a paralegal at a Madison law firm. Her rural roots and commitment to Wisconsin’s natural landscapes drive her dedication to supporting policies that benefit the environment and the communities that depend on it.

Sophia Simon
Sophia is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying both Political Science and Psychology. She is interested in finding a common ground between the two fields, specifically by understanding how human behavior shapes politics and policy. Before working in policy at the Legislature, Sophia worked as an intern for Susan Crawford’s Supreme Court campaign. After gaining knowledge about the campaign side of politics, she hopes to use her experience at the legislature to become more multifaceted in Wisconsin politics and policy.

Kylie Rich
Kylie is a sophomore at UW-Madison, pursuing a degree in Legal Studies with certificates in Public Policy and Criminal Justice. She is passionate about bridging the gap between political polarization and inspiring other young Americans to engage with and pursue careers in the political field as the future leaders of our democracy. Kylie hopes to attend law school and continue her work in public service, aiming to craft policy that reflects both compassion and practicality.
