Meet the Team

Elena Kruse

Elena has worked in the State Legislature since 2021 and with Rep. Andraca since 2023. She grew up in a suburb of New York City and has a bachelor’s degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She found her way to Wisconsin through a job with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, working for President Biden’s 2020 campaign. She moved to Madison for the campaign, and she has lived there ever since enjoying all that Madison has to offer. Elena is interested in criminal justice reform and policies that will help young adults like her who want to make Wisconsin their home.

Sandy Saltzstein

Sandy has been honored to serve the people of the 23rd District since 2021. She is a Milwaukee native and has been a Whitefish Bay resident for over 20 years. She received a bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University and a master’s degree from the University of Kansas. One of Sandy’s primary policy interests is education, and she is happy to share her perspective as the proud parent of two public school graduates, and as a member of the Whitefish Bay School Board since 2015.
