Inaugurated for a Four-Year Term

GREEN BAY– Senator Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) released the following statement after his inauguration for a four-year term to the Wisconsin State Senate:

“I appreciate the faith of the people of Wisconsin’s 2nd Senate District to send me back as one of their representatives in the State Capitol for four more years. I respect the importance of the oath I took today, and intend to view each day as a new opportunity to fulfil my obligation to the residents of Northeast Wisconsin in keeping with this oath. As the year progresses, I look forward to continuing to talk with local residents about the issues of importance to them. These conversations have been and will continue to serve as a compass that helps to guide my actions on their behalf within our state government.”

Due to a serious family medical conflict, Senator Cowles was unable to attend today’s inauguration in-person. Instead, he was sworn in over Zoom by outgoing Senate President Roger Roth (R-Appleton).
