Meet the Team

Stacy Benoy

Stacy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. Before working for the legislature, she was a paralegal at a Madison law firm. Her rural roots and commitment to Wisconsin’s natural landscapes drive her dedication to supporting policies that benefit the environment and the communities that depend on it.

Janiessa Grady 

Janiessa is a senior undergraduate Student at the UW - Madison pursuing a degree in Global Health. Because of the interconnectedness between health and public policy, she believes that legislation can be a powerful tool to help improve the lives of people. Following graduation and her internship, Janiessa would like to continue working in the public sector to improve the health and well-being of people.  

Elena Cuille

Elena is a sophomore at the UW-Madison, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. Born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, Elena is excited to learn more about public policy in Wisconsin through interning for our team. She is passionate about supporting public education and protecting our environment, and is eager to see how our legislature can enact such policies! Following graduation, Elena hopes to attend law school, where she is sure her experience with the public sector at the capitol will make her a more conscientious student and lawyer.
