WI Department of Administration
DOA helps the governor develop and implement the state budget, and supports other state agencies and their programs by offering services such as centralized purchasing and financial management.

WI Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection
DATCP promotes quality food, healthy plants and animals, sound use of land and water resources, and a fair marketplace.​​

WI Department of Children and Families
DCF improves the economic and social well-being of Wisconsin's children, youth, and families.​​

WI Department of Corrections
​DOC supervises offenders using the most effective correctional policies and procedures aimed at protecting Wisconsin citizens, helping offenders succeed in the community and making every effort to reduce the cost of corrections to taxpayers.​

WI Department of Employee Trust Funds
ETF administers retirement and other benefit programs for state and local government employees and retirees.​

WI Department of Financial Institutions
DFI regulates state-chartered banks, savings and loan associations, savings banks and credit unions, as well as various operations of the securities industry. DFI also is the filing office for new and existing business entities; regulates the mortgage banking industry and other providers of financial services; oversees Uniform Commercial Code filings; administers the Wisconsin Consumer Act; registers merchants who extend credit; is the filing office for notary publics and trademarks and trade names; and registers and regulates charitable organizations.​​

WI Department of Health Services
DHS exercises multiple roles in the protection and promotion of the health and safety of the people of Wisconsin in an effort to foster economic prosperity and improve residents quality of life.​​

WI Department of Justice
DOJ provides legal advice and representation, criminal investigations, and various law enforcement services and victim services for the State of Wisconsin. DOJ is led by the Wisconsin Attorney General.

DMA provides essential, effective, and responsive military and emergency management capability for the citizens of Wisconsin and the United States.​

WI Department of Natural Resources
DNR is dedicated to working with the citizens and businesses of Wisconsin while preserving and enhancing the natural resources of Wisconsin. In partnership with individuals and organizations, the DNR manages fish, wildlife, forests, parks, air and water resources while promoting a healthy, sustainable environment and a full range of outdoor opportunities.​​

DPI advances and supports public education and libraries in Wisconsin.​​

WI Department of Revenue
DOR administers Wisconsin's tax system to provide revenue to fund state and local government services.

WI Department of Safety and Professional Services
DSPS is responsible for ensuring the safe and competent practice of licensed professionals in Wisconsin. DSPS administers and enforces laws to ensure safe and sanitary conditions in public and private buildings and provides centralized administrative services to the boards, councils, and advisory committees responsible for professional oversight of occupations.​

WI Department of Tourism
The Department of Tourism markets Wisconsin as the Midwest's premier travel destination for fun.​

WI Department of Transportation
DOT supports all forms of transportation and is responsible for planning, building and maintaining Wisconsin's network of state and Interstate highways. WisDOT plans, promotes and financially supports statewide air, rail and water transportation, as well as bicycle and pedestrian facilities. The department shares the costs of building and operating local transportation systems – from highways to public transit.

WI Department of Veterans Affairs
WDVA provides an array of benefits and support services to eligible state veterans and veterans' family members.

WI Department of Workforce Development
DWD is charged with building and strengthening Wisconsin's workforce by providing job services, training, and employment assistance to people looking for work. DWD also works with employers to find the necessary workers to fill current job openings.​​
