SERVING WISCONSIN'S 29TH DISTRICT

About

Born and raised in Central Wisconsin, Cory and his wife Becky have made Mosinee their home since 1988, where they’ve watched their two children and three grandchildren grow.

No stranger to hard work, Cory started his family small business, IROW, while working full-time. IROW has served Central Wisconsin for more than three decades, earning numerous accolades including being named the Wausau Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year.

Cory has been involved a variety of local and national organizations including the Mosinee School Board, i-SIGMA, NAID, Wausau Chamber of Commerce, and The Hope Food Pantry.

Cory’s knowledge of what it takes for small businesses to succeed, understanding how government can help and hurt economic growth, and commitment to his community drove him to serve the area he calls home as the Senator for the 29th Senate District, winning election in 2022.

In the 2023-2024 Session, Cory serves as the chair of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Local Government, Vice-Chair of the Committee on Agriculture and Tourism, and as member of the Committee on Financial Institutions and Sporting Heritage and the Committee on Natural Resources and Energy.
