Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package, including paid leave, insurance, and retirement. For general information on these benefits, see Benefits of State Employment for Wisconsin state employees.

Individuals employed in state government for 10 years may be eligible to have some of their school loans discharged through the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.

Work-Life Balance

We promote a healthy balance between your personal and professional life. We offer alternative work patterns, including compressed and flexible work schedules. Although most of our audit work is performed at state agencies in the Madison area, employees may occasionally travel to complete audit work. We also provide opportunities to join with work colleagues in charitable activities, including collecting food for local food pantries.
