SUMMARY

We provided unmodified opinions on the Schedule of Employer Allocations for the WRS and the specified total amounts on the Schedule of Collective Pension Amounts for the WRS, and the related notes, for calendar year 2016. Our independent auditor’s report is included with the ETF report, which can be found on ETF’s website. ETF prepared the schedules to assist participating WRS employers in reporting their proportionate share of the $0.8 billion net pension liability, as well as other amounts, in their financial statements. Because of an error made by ETF in preparing and presenting certain amounts in one of the schedules, we report a significant deficiency and include a recommendation for ETF to improve its processes.
