SUMMARY

The Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund insures participating physicians and other health care providers in Wisconsin against medical malpractice claims that exceed the coverage limits of their primary malpractice insurance. Statues require participation by most health care providers. We issued an unqualified opinion on the Fund’s financial statements for FY 2003-04, FY 2004-05, and FY 2005-06.
