SUMMARY

Since FY 1999-2000, the Department of Health and Family Services has spent $2.9 million to collect, analyze, and disseminate information related to health care services delivered in physicians’ offices, including cost information. However, program data have been of limited value to researchers and health care professionals and have not been available in a format the general public can use.
