SUMMARY

We identified 40 UW System employees under state supervision for felony convictions, including 15 who were convicted while employed by UW System. We include recommendations for UW institutions to determine whether any of the convictions were substantially job-related and for the Board of Regents to clarify policies related to background checks and the termination of staff who engage in serious criminal behavior.
