SUMMARY

We have completed fiscal reviews of the Department of Financial Institutions and the Office of the State Public Defender. We reviewed each agency’s fiscal processes, internal controls, and compliance with statutory provisions. Overall, we found that both agencies had appropriate fiscal policies and procedures in place, although we identified several areas in which procedural improvements could be made.
