SUMMARY

State agencies allocated $39.9 million in federal and state funds for emergency management in FY 2005-06. Counties reported budgeting most of their emergency management funds for personnel in 2006. All county emergency management plans reviewed met established standards, and some include or organize information in ways that could be helpful to other counties.
