Whether you have feedback on a particular piece of legislation, need help with a state agency, would like a Wisconsin Blue Book, or need anything else I can assist with, I encourage you to contact my office. My staff and I are always more than happy to help.

State Programs / Agency Contacts

If you have a question or concern about a state program, department or agency, please feel free to contact my office and I or my staff will do everything we can to help you receive a fair and timely response.

To learn about the various services offered through state programs, including a comprehensive listing of state agencies, you can visit Wisconsin.gov for more information.

Blue Books / How a Bill Becomes a Law

State of Wisconsin Blue Books and the How a Bill Becomes a Law resource packet are available both through my office and the Assembly Chief Clerk's website. If you are interested in either of these items, please send me an e-mail with your name and address or call my office to request one.

A PDF copy of How a Bill Becomes a Law is available here.

Legislative Citations and Plaques

An official citation from the state legislature is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding achievement. The legislature regularly issues citations honoring people who have become Eagle Scouts, received the Girl Scout Gold Award, retired after a long career, proudly served in the Armed Forces, and many other notable accomplishments.

To arrange for a citation to be presented please contact my office with the following information:

  • Exact name of the person to be honored
  • Background information about the person
  • Date & time you would like the citation to be presented
  • Any other applicable information

Travel Wisconsin Guides

If you are looking to travel around our state in search of recreation, natural beauty, fine art, good restaurants, or state history, my office can provide a number of resources to you such as a state travel guide, state highway map, biking guide, park system book, campground directory, and more. You may also request these items directly from the Travel Wisconsin website

Flag Requests

The Assembly Chief Clerk's office has both American and Wisconsin flags available for purchase. You may also choose to have the flag flown over the state capitol on behalf of someone and/or a special occasion. Flags flown over the capitol include a certificate of recognition. For more information and to order flags please visit the Assembly Chief Clerks website.

For Kids

An online, printable Activity Book is available for kids to learn more about Wisconsin and how state government works. It includes word games, quizzes and crossword puzzles. The Wisconsin Historical Society additionally has many fun and informative links for children. Another great website is Wisconsin.gov, which has many links for kids, including an environmental education website from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and a money-managing website from the Department of Financial Institutions (DFI).
