Biography

I was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2004 and am currently serving as the Chairman of the Assembly Committee on Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation and the Special Committee on State-Tribal Relations. Prior to my service in the State Assembly, I had the honor of serving as the Crivitz Village President from 1991 to 2004.

Born in Oconto Falls and raised in Coleman, I graduated from Coleman High School in 1972. Later, I went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

My wife Nancy and I live in rural Crivitz where we raised our four children - Chris, Tim, Nick and Mitchel. We are also the proud grandparents to eleven wonderful grandchildren.

I am the co-owner of J&T Electric in Crivitz, and the former owner of Bakers's Kitchen restaurant. Additionally, I am also a member of the following groups:
