About Rob

Representative Rob Swearingen (R-Rhinelander) was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2012 and is currently serving his fourth term. 

A lifelong resident of Rhinelander, Rob attended Rhinelander Catholic Central as a youth and graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1981. He and his wife Amy will be celebrating 31 years of marriage this year and have two daughters.

Rob and Amy owned and operated The Al-Gen Dinner Club in Rhinelander from 1993 to 2023. Rob is also the former president of the Tavern League of Wisconsin, which represents close to 5,000 members across the State.  

Rob serves the Northwoods counties of Vilas and Oneida.
