Wisconsin’s Legislative Internship Program is an incredible opportunity for students and young professionals to gain hands-on experience in the heart of state government. Interns are immersed in the legislative process, working directly with senators and their staff on key policy issues, research, and constituent services. Senate Scholars Program
The Senate Scholar Program is an intensive week-long educational program offered by the Wisconsin State Senate. Admission to the program is highly competitive and is limited to 33 academically exceptional high school juniors and seniors from around Wisconsin. Sergeant at Arms Staff (Page)
The Senate Sergeant at Arms is a non-partisan office that aids the operation of the Senate. The page position is a valuable learning experience in state government. Scheduling is somewhat flexible, but the Sergeant's office requests messengers work an average of 3-5 four-hour shifts per week (12-20 hours). .
