Senator Agard's internship program provides valuable civic experience and unparalleled insight into the inner workings of state government. Senator Agard's internships are for the duration of one semester for the spring, summer, and fall semesters, with the potential to extend upon completion. Interns in Senator Agard's office will receive hands-on training and experience with the Wisconsin State Legislature, leaving our office with practical knowledge and skills in policy and legal research, communications, casework, and constituent services.

Our internship program is a synthesis of everything we do in our office. General interns do everything from conducting policy research and analysis, to providing constituent services, to assisting with communications and outreach. Interning in the Senate Democratic Leader's office also provides a unique insight into caucus communications and strategy development.

Thank you for considering Senator Agard's office for an internship. Please note a cover letter, resume, and 3-5 page writing sample is required to complete the application process. If you have any questions or concerns about this form or the submission materials, please contact Senator Agard's office at Sen.Agard@legis.wi.gov.
