The Wisconsin Blue Book was first published in 1853 and has been updated every two years since 1881. The book is a reference guide to all of the state agencies as well as the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of government.
Each edition of the Blue Book includes a featured article researched and written by the nonpartisan staff at the Legislative Reference Bureau. The featured article in the 2023-2024 Blue Book is titled “On the Capitol Beat,” and provides a detailed account of the members of the Capitol press corps over the past 175 years and highlights the role that political reporters play in our state government. It includes interviews with past and present Capitol journalists over the past 50 years – including Janesville’s own Stan Milam.
I have copies of the Wisconsin Blue Book available free of charge. If you would like one, please fill out the form below and I would be happy to send you one.
