Madison – State Representative John Jagler (R-Watertown) released the following statement concerning the non-partisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau’s newest revenue projections, which indicate that the State of Wisconsin’s general fund revenue will be $911 million higher than previously expected:

“These new revenue numbers are proof that our reforms are working. Businesses are growing throughout our state and job numbers are improving due to the tough, but bold decisions made by Governor Walker and Republican legislators over the last three years. We are finally treating our state’s finances as a responsible family would at home.”

“I look forward to giving this money back to taxpayers, just as we have consistently done throughout the session. I am excited to dive into the specifics of our newest tax relief package in the coming weeks.”
