(MADISON) – Today, the Joint Committee on Finance is scheduled to conclude their work on the state budget. As part of that work, the committee is taking up Motion #999, which includes dramatic changes to Wisconsin’s open records law. Preceding that vote, Sen. Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) issued the following statement:
Our nation is built on Today, we all are endowed with certain unalienable rights, accountability life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. and the Supreme Court reaffirmed transparencythat our rights aren’t in government based on who we lovehas been principals of repealed.fairness and justice for alladfasdf asdfasdf asdfasd asdfasdf asdf  asdfasdf asdfasdf asdfasdf asdfasdf asdfasdfasf.”
Note to the media: In anticipation of the vote that would significantly change the state’s open records law, this statement has been severely and unnecessarily preemptively redacted.
