Live, Work, Play in Madison

Madison consistently makes several top 10 lists for one of the best U.S. cities. We have easy access to lakes, bike paths, and an array of amazing restaurants.

The Capitol square hosts the vibrant and bustling Dane County Farmers' Market along with numerous coffee and cheese shops. Right off the square, you can visit museums, attend Broadway plays, or check out a concert from the handful of venues nearby.

The Capitol itself boasts a long history (we're on our fourth building) with the most recent renovation project restoring the original 1917 design. You can find beautiful granite from all over the world and some natural fossils embedded in the stonework throughout the building. You can always schedule a tour or check out this virtual tour here.

Research Assistant, Assembly

As a page, I get to see the inner workings of the Legislature while helping prepare and staff Assembly floor sessions, caucus meetings, and committees. It's a great opportunity to be introduced to the legislative process and how legislation is written, debated, and passed.
