Representative Franklin Sworn into State Assembly
MADISON – State Representative Benjamin Franklin (R-De Pere) was sworn into office today at the State Capitol. Rep. Franklin released the following statement after beginning his two-year term as the Representative of the 88th District:
“I am deeply honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve the residents of the 88th District in the 107th State Assembly, said Franklin. Since announcing my candidacy, I have been consistent in my message to the people of the 88th, that I will work tirelessly for them. I reaffirm that commitment today. We have a great district with great people, and I am eager to get to work!”
Rep. Franklin will serve on the following committees: Corrections, Criminal Justice and Public Safety, Jobs and Economy, Urban Revitalization, Ways and Means, and as Vice Chairman of Veterans and Military Affairs.
