Meet Brent!

Brent Jacobson was born and raised in Mosinee, Wisconsin where his father served as Mayor. After college, he returned to Mosinee, where he lives today with his wife and daughter.

He graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Business and West Virginia University in 2009 with a law degree. Rep. Jacobson has been employed as an attorney since 2010, and currently practices in Portage County.

He served as Mayor of Mosinee from 2015 to 2024 and as a Marathon County Supervisor from 2020 to 2022 and again in 2024. During his service in local government, Rep. Jacobson chaired the Marathon County Public Safety Committee, Mosinee Plan Commission, Mosinee Tourism Commission, and Mosinee Fire District Board.

Brent was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2024.
