Today, Rep Allen released a bill that would provide the Legislature with reading readiness assessment data for 4K through 2nd grade students in order to make effective policy and funding decisions for early reading intervention.

Today, Darrell Brooks was found guilty by jury trial of all charges including six counts of 1st degree murder. Rep. Allen released the following statement.

Wisconsin failed to achieve proficient status in 4th and 8th grade reading and math scores and had the largest disparity between white and black students in the nation. We need a change in leadership if we want to see students succeed.
