Representative Lisa Subeck Named Conservation Champion by League of Conservation Voters

MADISON – Representative Lisa Subeck (D-Madison) released the following statement after being named a Conservation Champion by the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the League of Conservation Voters as a Conservation Champion. My constituents care deeply about preserving and protecting our state’s environment, and I have brought that fight to the State Capitol.

It is unfortunate that Governor Walker and legislative Republicans have undone years of progress made by citizens, environmental advocates, scientists, and elected officials.

I will continue the longstanding tradition in the 78th Assembly District of standing up for our natural resources and protecting our environment. I remain committed to supporting responsible policies for the stewardship of our land, air, and water and to promoting additional investment in clean energy jobs for our state.”
