Rep. Subeck Honored by Three Health Organizations
MADISON – Rep. Lisa Subeck received awards from three statewide health associations for her advocacy on health care issues facing Wisconsinites. She was named a 2024 Friend of Hospice and Palliative Care by the Wisconsin Hospice and Palliative Care Association (WiHPCA), a Friend of Family Medicine by the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP), and a 2024 Community Health Center Champion Award by the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association (WPHCA).
“I am proud to work alongside these dedicated individuals and organizations to improve health outcomes and eliminate health disparities for all Wisconsinites,” said Rep. Subeck. “Access to high-quality, affordable health care has always been a priority for me, and I am grateful to be recognized for this work.”
WiHPCA provides community support and advocacy for hospices and palliative care organizations in Wisconsin, and is determined to grow access to care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses.
WAFP is a statewide association committed to promoting high professional and ethical standards in the practice of family medicine. The organization is the largest physician specialty group in Wisconsin.
WPHCA is a non-profit association that promotes access to high quality primary health care services effectively and inclusively across the state.
Rep. Subeck has represented the 78th Assembly District since 2015 and serves as Chair of the Assembly Democratic Caucus.
