Representative Subeck Re-Elected to Board of National Foundation for Women Legislators
MADISON – Representative Lisa Subeck (D-Madison) has been re-elected to serve on the Board of the National Foundation for Women’s Legislators (NFWL) as Vice-Chair of Membership.
“The impact the National Foundation for Women Legislators has made on my legislative skills is immeasurable. I am honored to have been re-elected to serve on the board and as Vice-Chair of Membership,” said Subeck.
The NFWL supports elected women from all levels of governance through educational and networking events. As a non-profit, non-partisan organization, the NFWL does not take ideological positions on public policy issues, but rather serves as a forum for women legislators to be empowered through information and experience.
“Women leaders are able to come together through NFWL where we can contribute first-hand information and experiences, build coalitions, share and seek answers to the concerns of our constituents, and identify innovative solutions to issues facing our communities,” said Subeck. “I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve as a leader and to help develop leadership among other elected women through my work with this national network.”
