Nutrition Assistance Programs

No person should go hungry in our community. Nutrition is a basic need for all of us, and it is important our community has resources available to those who need it. Below is a list of resources available to those in the Dane County area:

https://www.cacscw.org/services/food-security/food-bank/dane-county-food-pantry-network/ - Community Action Coalition has this list of local food banks in Madison, and the surrounding areas.  

https://www.publichealthmdc.com/health-services/women-infants-children-wic-program - Public Health of Madison and Dane County offers the Women, Infants and Children program, which provides education and resources to those who are pregannt or have young children.

https://danecountyhumanservices.org/employment/foodshare_wisconsin.aspx - Dane County Department of Human Services offers the Food Share program, which assists residents of Dane County who need help fulfilling their nutritional needs. 

https://www.ssmhealth.com/health-at-home/community-health-resources/meals-on-wheels - SSM Health offers a Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to those in need, and provides routine wellness checks by trained volunteers.
