Blue Books Available

The 2021-2022 edition of the Wisconsin Blue Book is now available.  You may view the content online, or you may request a hard copy from my office (please include your name and mailing address).  Depending on the volume of requests, delivery may take a few weeks.

Fall Session

The Assembly will reconvene next Tuesday, September 28.  As the Assembly resumes floor sessions, committee meetings are also ramping up.  For example, the Assembly workforce development committee, on which I serve, met on September 21 to approve Assembly Bill 115, which creates a tax deduction for apprenticeship tuition.  You may view the Assembly and Senate committee schedule here.

Redistricting

The Legislature is still accepting input from Wisconsin residents about updating our state's eight congressional districts, 33 Senate districts, and 99 Assembly districts to reflect changes in population since the 2010 census.  You may draw and submit maps (and view submitted proposals) at Draw Your District Wisconsin.  The deadline for submissions is October 15.

Fall Colors

Fall officially began this week, and the Wisconsin Department of Tourism has released its Fall Color Report, which will help you find where and when changing leaves will be their most colorful!
