Welcome to my website! Here you will find information on legislation I am a involved with, press releases, weekly email updates, and a plethora of resources from Wisconsin Eye to updates from the Governor, but first things first: let me tell you a little bit about myself.
One of the main questions I receive being in this role is: Why did you decide to run? There are a lot of reasons why I ran and how I ended up in this position, but the biggest is that I really was disappointed in my government from the state to the national level. I thought they needed someone who was a “real” person to be a voice for our area, not a lifetime politician. I continue to work full time as a produce broker moving onions across the US and Canada, I’ve been married to my husband Nate for over ten years, and we have two children Calvin (6) and Reba (5).
I was elected to office in November of 2022 after a hard-fought campaign and am currently serving as the first ever female assembly representative for my district. The 73rd District is comprised of the far Northwest corner of Wisconsin; Douglas, Burnett, and Washburn Counties.
The people of NW Wisconsin need someone who represents their interests. As someone who hunts, fishes, works, and raises children, I believe I represent a lot of varied interests of people in my community. By choosing someone with no political background (and in-turn, no political leash) NW Wisconsin has finally ended up with someone who really supports their needs that have never been met before, and I continue to fight to be a positive influence in my community through my work in (and out of) The Capitol Building.
