Lawmakers recognize 'Wisconsin Cheese Day'

PLOVER, Wis. (WSAW) -- State lawmakers toured six growing cheese companies around Wisconsin Monday in honor of 'Wisconsin Cheese Day.'
State Senator Patrick Testin and State Representative Katrina Shankland were joined by representatives from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and the Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) for a tour of Biery Cheese in Plover.
Joe Tomlinson is the president of Biery Cheese, and facilitated the tour and talked about the growth of the company.
Tomlinson was presented by a certificate of appreciation signed by Governor Walker.
