State Republican lawmakers are studying whether to merge the University of Wisconsin System’s two-year colleges with the state’s 16 technical college districts.  In the State Capitol Report, Joy Cardin talks about the idea with Assembly Assistant Minority Leader Katrina Shankland and Speaker Robin Vos.  They also preview the Assembly’s priorities for fall, including reforms to the Government Accountability Board, John Doe laws, campaign finance and a ban on aborted fetal tissue research.
