I'm honored and excited to represent the 62nd Assembly District!
Hello, I'm Angelina Cruz
Born and raised in Racine, Wisconsin, I’ve dedicated my life to education and public service in the community that shaped me. After graduating from St. Catherine’s High School in 1997, I began my studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before earning a BA in Sociology and teacher certification from UW–Parkside in 2002. I later completed a master’s degree in Educational Policy from UW–Milwaukee in 2010. For over two decades, I’ve served as a public school educator in the Racine Unified School District and have taken on leadership roles as president of the Racine Education Uniserv Council and a long-standing member of the Racine Education Association. I’ve also worked to strengthen public institutions through service on the Racine Public Library Board and the Police and Fire Commission. In 2024, I was honored to be elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly.
