Meet Ty
Ty has always had a passion for politics. He attended Consolidated Catholic School in Lomira and Theresa from preschool through 8th grade. With his parents being heavily involved in the 2004 presidential election, Ty and his family had an opportunity to meet President Bush. His parents even had dinner at the White House. Being active in the political world continued through high school.Ā Ty graduated from Stockbridge High School in 2012 and ended up marrying his high school sweetheart, Paige, in 2016. Ty and Paige have three children. Ty graduated with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. While a student at UW-Green Bay, he interned at the Capitol for 59th District State Representative Jesse Kremer. He also interned for the Green Bay Mayor's office, where he helped with budgetary decisions for the city.
Ty continued his education by attending Arkansas State University and obtained his Master's degree in Public Administration in 2018. While in school, Ty was hired as the Non-Profit Farm Manager of Cristo Rey Ranch in Mt. Calvary. Cristo Rey Ranch is an organization that specializes in animal therapy for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities. After serving in that role for three years, Ty was hired at Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution and became the nonprofit board chairman of Cristo Rey Ranch. He later took a promotion and transferredĀ to Taycheedah Correctional Institution serving in the admissions office. Since early 2022, Ty took a position as a Legislative Researcher at the John Birch Society.
In December of 2017, Ty was appointed to the Stockbridge Village Board, was elected to two more terms, and ended his time on the board in May of 2022. He still currently sits on the Stockbridge Sewer Utility Commision and the Stockbridge Water Utility Commission. Ty has been the Chairman of the Republican Party of Calumet County since March of 2021.
