Meet Lori!
Representative Lori Palmeri was elected to the 54th Assembly District in 2022. She has served in local government since 2016, with the Oshkosh Common Council, and served two terms as Oshkosh Mayor. She has served on numerous local government advisory and non-profit boards in the community. She and her neighbors founded the central city Middle Village Neighborhood Association in Oshkosh (2010).
In the private sector, Lori Palmeri has provided planning support for non-profits in northern and southeastern Wisconsin since 2009. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban and Regional Studies (2010), and her Masters of Urban Planning Degree from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2013). Lori has been a resident of Oshkosh since 2008, is married to Tony Palmeri and has two adult children and two grandchildren.
Representative Palmeri currently serves on four legislative committees:
- Committee on Environment
- Committee on Forestry, Parks & Outdoor Recreation
- Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention
- Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform
Representative Palmeri has also served on the Speaker's Task Force on Artificial Intelligence.
