About Dean

Hi, I'm Dean Kaufert. 

I was born in Menasha, WI and have lived in both Neenah and Menasha throughout my life. I graduated from Neenah High School (Go Rockets!) and attended Fox Valley Technical College, becoming an EMT. I worked with Gold Cross Ambulance for many years serving the Fox Valley. 

I have been happily married to my wife Renee for 47 years. We have two daughters and 7 grandchildren. Over the past thirty years I have owned and operated two small businesses, All Sport Trophy and Engraving in Neenah and the Dome Sports Bar and Grill in Neenah. 

I previously served in the Legislature from 1991-2014, and then served as Mayor of Neenah from 2014-2018. I ran for the State Assembly again to restore common sense in Madison, and I am honored to represent the residents of the 53rd Assembly District.
