Located in the heart of Madison between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, the Wisconsin State Capitol is a stunning historic building over 100 years old.

  • Hours:
    • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Weekends & Holidays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tours: Free daily tours are available.
    • Group Tours: For groups of 10 or more, arrange your visit via the Capitol Tour website or call +1 (608) 266-0382.

School Groups:
Planning a school tour? Contact us at Rep.Dallman@legis.wisconsin.gov to coordinate a professional photo to commemorate your visit.

The Wisconsin Blue Book is a valuable resource filled with state history, government information, and statistics.

  • 2023–2024 Blue Books: Available now!
  • 2024–2025 Blue Books: Expected in early 2025.

Did you know you can purchase official U.S. or Wisconsin flags through our office? Flags can also be flown over the Wisconsin State Capitol in honor of someone or a special occasion.

  • U.S. & Wisconsin Flag Set: $24.00

Optional Service:

  • Flags flown above the Capitol will include a certificate noting the date and occasion.
