State Programs / Agency Contacts

As your state representative, I understand how daunting of a task it can be to navigate the endless web of bureacracy in government. If you are looking for assistance or have general questions about a particular state program, please contact my office. My staff and I would be happy to assist you. You can also check the list of state agencies and what they have to offer by visiting this directory

Blue Books / How a Bill Becomes a Law

State of Wisconsin Blue Books and the How a Bill Becomes a Law resource packet are available both through my office and the Assembly Chief Clerk's website. If you are interested in either of these items, please send me an e-mail with your name and address or call my office to request one. Blue Books for the current legislative session are typically available around October in odd-numbered years.

A PDF copy of How a Bill Becomes a Law is available here.

Legislative Citations and Plaques

An official citation from the state legislature is a wonderful way to recognize an outstanding achievement. The legislature regularly issues citations honoring people who have earned the Eagle Scout / Gold Star awards, 50-year wedding anniversaries, 100-year birthdays, business anniversaries, and other life achievements.

If my schedule permits, I make a point of attending events to which I am invited to present the citation in person. Please fill out this form here or contact my office to begin this process.

Travel Wisconsin Guides

No matter the season, the 35th Assembly District is one of the best places to live and recreate in the state. Whether you are planning a getaway weekend, traveling for an upcoming festival, looking for local trails, a bite to eat, or more, my office has a number of resources available to make planning your trip easier. You may also request these items directly from the Travel Wisconsin website. The chambers of commerce in the district are a huge help to folks as well, if you need any local suggestions.

Flag Requests

The Assembly Chief Clerk's office has both American and Wisconsin flags available for purchase. You may also choose to have the flag flown over the state capitol on behalf of someone and/or a special occasion. Flags flown over the capitol include a certificate of recognition. Click here for more information.
