If you are interested in obtaining either of these items, please send an email with your name and address, or call my office to request them. Additionally, you can access a PDF copy of "How a Bill Becomes a Law" at this link: https://legis.wisconsin.gov/assembly/acc/media/1106/howabillbecomeslaw.pdf. Legislative Citations and Plaques

Recognizing outstanding achievements through an official citation from the state legislature is a wonderful way to honor individuals who have accomplished remarkable feats. The legislature regularly issues citations to acknowledge various accomplishments such as attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, receiving the Girl Scout Gold Award, retiring after a long career, or proudly serving in the Armed Forces, among others.

If my schedule permits, I make it a priority to attend events to personally present the citation to the deserving individual. Please feel free to contact my office to initiate the process and arrange for the presentation of the citation. We would be pleased to assist you in this process and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals in our community.

Flag Requests

If you are interested in purchasing an American or Wisconsin flag, you may obtain one through the Assembly Chief Clerk's office. We offer both flags for purchase, and you also have the option to have the flag flown over the state capitol on behalf of a special occasion or individual. Flags flown over the capitol come with a certificate of recognition, making them an excellent choice for commemorative events or personal mementos.

The cost of purchasing either an American or Wisconsin flag is $12.00. Please contact our office to request a flag or to arrange for the flag to be flown over the state capitol. We would be delighted to assist you in obtaining a flag that you can proudly display in your home or office.
