Representative Gae Magnafici is a lifelong resident of the 28th Assembly District, growing up on a farm near Deronda, WI. She attended Amery High School before obtaining an Applied Science degree from Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. Gae became a registered nurse in 1982.

Before completing her education, Gae dedicated 12 years of her career to serving developmentally disabled individuals in the mental health field. She then spent 35 years as a pediatric nurse and has recently retired after providing care to children at St. Paul Children's Hospital.

Gae currently resides with her husband, Tom, in Dresser, WI, where they own and operate a small business.
