It is a tremendous honor to represent the community I grew up in. It is my hope that this website serves as a valuable resource for providing you with updates and information pertaining to my legislative work, as well as a means of communication for constituents of the 19th Assembly District. I appreciate you taking the time to visit my page and encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns. Together we can make Milwaukee a better place to work, live, and raise families.
Thank you for your support!
Rep. Brostoff grew up on Milwaukee’s east side where he still resides today. Graduating in 2011, he attended UW-Milwaukee, where he studied political science. This is also where he met his wife Diana.
He has been active in the community from a young age, volunteering regularly for homeless shelters and social service agencies, such as Pathfinders for youth and Dryhootch for veterans, and advocating for the rights of all Wisconsinites.
Brostoff’s legislative priorities pertain to disability advocacy, Hmong rights, Deaf and hard of hearing issues, the rights of incarcerated individuals, public education, and mental health care support.
This session, he is serving on the committees of Aging and Long-Term Care, Government Accountability and Oversight, Mental Health, Natural Resources and Sporting Heritage, and Regulatory Licensing Reform.
Last session, he served on the committees of Aging and Long Term Care, Financial Institutions, Mental Health Reform, State Affairs and Government Operations, and Ways and Means. He was also a member of the task force on Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
