Rep. Neylon Supports Public Safety

Pewaukee – This week, the Wisconsin Assembly passed a series of public safety bills aimed at enhancing safety in both communities and schools. This legislation includes placing Student Resource Officers in Milwaukee Public Schools, broadening the guidelines for towing and impounding vehicles driven by reckless drivers, revoking the supervision or probation of someone who commits a crime, increasing the penalties for intentionally harming a police or fire animal and imposing the penalty of life imprisonment for the crime of child trafficking.

In response to the approval of these bills, State Representative Adam Neylon issued the following statement:

"A free society relies on transparency and accountability in the judicial system. These bills are a bold step forward, strengthening safety in our schools and communities to ensure a brighter and safer Wisconsin for all."
