Downward Trajectory of COVID-19 in Wisconsin
According to data released from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and reported by Wisconsin Health News, the state's COVID-19 pandemic trajectory indicators are trending downward. COVID-19 activity levels continue to remain high across the state.
The agency identified a shrinking trajectory in the state as well as in the southeast healthcare emergency readiness coalition region. Ten counties are also seeing a downward trend, including Milwaukee and Waukesha County.

73,138 confirmed cases (increase of 878*)
8.1% of total tests are positive (for 8/27)
5,684 hospitalizations (7.8% of cases- increase of 33)
64,480 recovered cases (88% of all cases)
1,148,494 negative test results (increase of 9,913)
1,111 devastating deaths (increase of 11)

Milwaukee - 23,676 confirmed cases (increase of 162)
Waukesha - 5,416 confirmed cases (increase of 63)
