Resources for Small Businesses
Last week I attended the Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) Virtual Capitol Meeting for discussions on how to support Wisconsin's small businesses.
Below are some of the resources that were discussed at the event available for Wisconsin small business owners:
Kiva Loans
Kiva has expanded small business lending on its online platform to include a larger list of eligible businesses, the possibility for larger loans, and a grace period for repayment. Learn more here or visit the dedicated page for applicants in Milwaukee.
Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC)
The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Veteran Business Outreach Centers (VBOC) provides business development services in Wisconsin to residents who are:
- Active duty service members, including Guard and Reserve
- Veterans
- Family members of the above
For more information please email us and ask about our VBOC at vboc@wwbic.com or visit their website HERE.
